If first impressions count for a lot, then you won’t be disappointed when arriving at Villa Adonia. When I arrive at an accommodation I’ve only seen on the internet, I am craving an instant "wow factor" which tells me this is something special and beyond the norm. Villa Adonia certainly had the wow factor and we were not disappointed. Despite arriving in the dark (long story and totally our fault), we rushed round admiring the layout, the rooms and the high quality furnishings that adorn all the rooms.
In the early morning day light, we were even more delighted to find we had uninterrupted views over the gorgeous infinity pool to the coast line and sea beyond, and also across towards the hills and slopes that just needed to be explored.
The rooms and facilities were excellent and for a change the owners made sure we had decent quality cooking and eating gear, often seen as an easy cost cut by some landlords. At Villa Adonia the owners understand that when booking a quality villa holiday, we expect the same high quality on holiday as we have at home.
Adonia’s location is quiet, but within an easy walk or even drive of some well supplied and good quality shops. The local bakery is a must, but be early to get the best. Local bars and restaurants in Peiya are a mix of British expat and local Cypriot. Whilst a 10 min drive down the hill gets you to a huge selection of reasonable, but frankly rather average seaside holiday bars, restaurants and shops. Pathos is also close by for those seeking a busy town….
Overall the villa was a great place to stay and we spent most of our time chilled out, enjoying a very relaxing week by the lovely pool. The location is ideal if you want to be away from the crowds, but don’t want to be so cut off that topping up supplies or finding a place to eat out is a chore…

Right from our initial enquiry the communication with Tracy was first class. The description of the villa was exactly as we found it. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and in a lovely location with a nice garden which had plenty of citrus trees.
Although it was November, the pool was very inviting and we did swim in it on a couple of occasions although the water was quite cold.
We would thoroughly recommend the villa and would certainly return ourselves.

We spent a week in Villa Adonia in Oct/Nov 2013. We were very lucky with the weather, the glorious sunshine meant we could enjoy both Cyprus and the villa itself to the full. We found the villa extremely well equipped for a family - we were able to eat in without any hassle, and the large BBQ in the garden, right next to the dining room patio doors was both well positioned and a lovely way to cook. Despite the short days at that time of year, we BBQ'ed most evenings. We spent a couple of days by the lovely infinity pool (a bit chilly but to be expected at that time of year!) and most other days exploring the glorious beaches on the island - worth taking a car and exploring, there is so much more than Coral Bay to be found!

The village of Peyia is easily walkable from the villa with a few nice restaurants and bars - very geared up for tourists, but a lot more authentically Cypriot than the beach bars down in Paphos and Coral Bay. We had a lovely Meze at Cousins Tavern, and a couple of drinks at the Jail Bar and the Mill Bar. We also had lunch at another bar down the hill (I forget the name) which was also very nice. Everywhere is friendly, relaxed and welcoming.

The villa itself was practical and luxurious, the bedrooms each have an en suite with either a bath or shower. The master bedroom has a jacuzzi bath (which the kids loved!) and a Sauna in the en suite! The two bedrooms upstairs also have large balconies, overlooking the spectacular views. The beds are comfortable, everything was spotless and I really can't find anything to criticise. I will defnitely be recommending the villa to friends and family.

We had a fabulous week in Villa Adonia - the only bad point was that we wished it was longer.
